Hello,
I hope you’ve been well and that you and your loved ones are safe and healthy during these challenging times. I’m Clarinda, Editor-in-Chief of Editage Insights, and I’m writing to remind you about an initiative that I believe can really make a difference to your life – a global survey on mental health, fulfilment, and well-being among researchers. I understand that you could’ve missed my previous email, or you probably didn’t have the time to take the survey when I first wrote to you. But we’re closing the survey soon and I didn't want you to miss this opportunity to voice your opinion.
Over 9000 researchers from across the globe have participated so far, sharing joy and stress triggers in their lives, the kind of changes they’d like to see in the global research culture, and the kind of support they’d like to receive from academic institutions and organizations.
With such an overwhelming response, this survey is set to be one of the largest global surveys dealing with mental health in academia. So if you haven’t been able to participate yet, please do. We'd love to hear your thoughts on how the global research culture can be made more supportive and nurturing for researchers. Click here to take the survey!
Why this survey is important: Given the current COVID-19 situation taking an adverse toll on everyone’s mental health, and with the world counting on researchers to “fix” this crisis, I believe that it’s more important than ever now to focus on their mental health and wellbeing. We’ll be closing the survey soon, so don’t miss this final chance to make your voice count!
Warm regards,
Clarinda
